We are over the moon to be back at one of Minneapolis’ most stunning venues, The Whim. Inspired by European art and industrial beauty, The Whim is the perfect space to create an intimate wedding experience.

Each Minne Wedding is 90 minutes for up to 30 guests (plus the couple). You can have up to 15 more guests for an additional fee. The first spot has the option of adding on Early Access so you can get ready in their luxurious dressing rooms. Contact us for more information and pricing. All Minne Weddings will comply with CDC and State guidelines to provide a safe experience in a clean and sanitized environment.

Venue & Rentals

Nestled in the heart of the Nordeast Minneapolis Arts District, The Whim boasts airy white walls, soaring timber ceilings, sprawling vintage brick, and a vibrant romance reminiscent of the roaring ’20s. Chairs, tables, and lounge seating are all included, courtesy of the wonderful Collected & Co. And there’s plenty of free on-site parking spaces for you and your guests.

Planning & Design

Rocket Science Events is expertly pulling it all together. This award-winning team is known for their unique designs and flawless weddings. You will have a stylish ceremony backdrop with other thoughtful touches throughout the space.

Photography

Cadence & Eli are award winning photographers who have been photographing weddings since 2008. They specialize in capturing authentic moments and creating timeless, beautiful portraits that stand the test of time. While Cadence & Eli have worked with clients all over the US and world, they're incredibly excited to be partnering with Minne Weddings and can't wait to tell your story. You will receive a minimum of 75 high resolution images with rights to reproduce. Add on a finished album with all your photos as the perfect keepsake from the day!

Videography

You’re getting the talented Snowshoe Productions, who will capture and edit your ceremony so you and your loved ones can relive this important day. The option for livestreaming your ceremony to offsite guests is also available; along with other finished video edits.

Cake & Champagne

What happens when a catering company with a reputation for incredible food and the best service is involved? The tiny reception of your dreams, of course. With D’Amico Catering’s award-winning pastry chef at the helm, your wedding cake is sure to make a statement. More substantial bites can be added as you’d like. Bubbles will be supplied by The Whim, cheers!

Floral

Ginger Root MPLS will be making everything beautiful with their bold, unique style. Growing many of the flowers himself and foraging other materials is what makes Ginger Roots’ designs stand out. Personal flowers are included for the couple, additional corsages, boutonnieres, and bouquets can be added if desired.

Invitation

Stylie Studios will be bringing their skills to beautify the day! Your Minne Wedding includes a custom digital invitation PDF you can send to your guests. Love sending snail mail? Then upgrade to our printed invitation suite that includes guest addressing and mailing.

Officiant

Flutterby Celebrations will expertly officiate your wedding ceremony, personalizing it to fit your style.
